What are folks using for "thin clients" to access Windows 365 and Azure Virtual Desktop? As it is, if you have to manage a full physical PC, might as well keep the workloads on the physical PC.

we are using full physical locked down to limited subset of remote desktop and productivity apps. Our philsophy is that we are reducing attack surfaces by keeping lob apps within the AVD estate - rather than on roaming clients which are more difficult to keep updated

tmareid and Charlie Dobson, or anyone else,
Have you looked at whether the "Windows 365 Boot" configuration?
- Charlie DobsonNov 27, 2023Iron ContributorNo. My company doesn't seem interested in W365; only AVD.
- Charlie DobsonNov 27, 2023Iron ContributorWe are still searching for a "thin client" type device, but we have the same philosophy of locking down the physical hardware and keeping everything in the cloud VM.

- PatCoughlin404Nov 27, 2023Occasional ReaderIgel has strong support for AVD and W365 Cloud PCs.
- SigurdWernerNov 27, 2023Iron ContributorBut Dell Wyse ThinOS is currently not supporting W365 access just AVD
