Event details
Windows 365 Reserve is a standalone solution delivering temporary, secured Cloud PCs to help your employees get back to being productive fast anywhere on any device, without the overhead of maintaining a fleet of loaner devices. Whatever kind of physical PC break/fix and recovery events you might need to navigate - device loss or damage, malware incidents, or regional disruptions - Windows 365 Reserve has you covered. Go under the hood of a Windows 365 Reserve Cloud PC and see the on‑demand provisioning flow and why it’s intentionally designed with strict controls for reliability, predictability, and cost containment. We'll also demo policy setup, rapid provisioning, and deprovisioning plus offer a preview of roadmap investments aimed at cutting time‑to‑productive even further. You will leave with practical guidance and design recovery playbooks to help you get the most from Windows 365 Reserve.

Hi Logan Silliman
Can we get Windows 365 Reserve license as part of a free trial, at least for 30 days, similar to other Windows 365 offerings? It’s currently very difficult to follow up with the marketing team and obtain licenses for POC purposes.

Microsoft
Yes! Windows 365 Reserve trials are now available- we recommend reaching out to your Microsoft sales team or partner representative to get trial access. Thanks!

Hi there,
Are there plans to allow Autopilot v2 and be able to use a dedicated custom virtual network?
Thanks.
- prbalaji
Microsoft
Hi Alex, 1) Yes, support for Autopilot v2 (device preparation policy) is in development for Windows 365 Reserve, though there’s no ETA to share. 2) No, we don’t plan to support custom virtual networks for Windows 365 Reserve. Reserve is built for continuity so we intentionally limit customizations compared to our other Windows 365 editions & leverage Microsoft Hosted Network to help support faster, more reliable provisioning during incidents. For customers with custom network needs, we recommend using Secure Web services or a traditional split‑tunnel VPN to securely connect to on-prem resources. Instead of attaching the Cloud PC to your network, the Cloud PC connects outward using a split‑tunnel VPN, like a roaming laptop. Would appreciate any feedback on this approach!

Hello Team,
Is this CPC reserve can be used as a loner CPC for a CPC user as well?- prbalaji
Microsoft
Yes, CPC users who are currently using W365 Enterprise/Frontline/Business offerings can also use W365 Reserve. IT admins can manage all provisioning on Intune while the user can access their Cloud PCs via Windows App. However, W365 Reserve license will likely offer most benefits as a business continuity solution to physical PC users.
