When you talk about backup of apps you mean a list of store apps that are installed. The UI just says Apps. Are these just modern apps or does this include win32 apps. what about apps that are not installed through the store? We have the store disabled for end users... but still allows use of the store through winget/Store app.
My point is users get apps from all over the place. Having the UI say it will restore apps is sort of lying to them and I think will cause more harm than good. The UI should be upfront and tell the end user what apps and settings it can restore. and can you pick and choose what apps and settings are restored?
