Backup for Organizations backs up the Windows Store app list. Does this include Available apps users have installed from Company Portal?
MicrosoftIf the available apps were installed through the Microsoft Store, then yes, the feature will backup and restore those apps.

To clarify, do you mean Microsoft Store app (new) apps in Intune set as Available to users, and where users have elected to install these via Company Portal, will be installed when restoring the backup, but others will not, or is it that apps must have been installed directly via the Microsoft Store app?
If the former, is the management state maintained post-restore, or does it become an unmanaged install?

Yes, Microsoft Store app installed via Company portal will be backed up and restored. They will remain managed.
