You may want to check if your motherboard has the connectors for installing a TPM module instead, ie: https://us.msi.com/Motherboard/TPM-20-Module
In many cases the problem is not a place for the module but ability to obtain TPM modules. A number of them are out of stock with the big vendors. Some mother boards need a specific type of TPM (vertical board or chipset type) and the information is lacking there
