Any update about combating 0-days? People are worried about printnighmare and SolarWinds and while Microsoft doing great job protecting users against 0-days but sometimes we have to wait for the patch and it would be nice to have some special defense mechanism in place while we are waiting.

    Have you heard about the new Expedite capability in Intune? It allows you to dramatically increase your patch speeds without having to change your existing steady state policies. 🙂

      Yes, that is the great feature, however sometimes patch is not available yet and we have a workaround , for example in case of printnightmare we have to disable the spooler service and wait. Of course when the patch is available we have to use Expedite capability like you mentioned.

      In addition, look at Microsoft 365 Defender, which provides advanced threat protection before security patches are available.

        True, however sometimes the issue is totally unknown and some companies would still prefer their own private management so they won't go to the cloud.
