How to build app confidence with Test Base
Event details
Since Test Base reached general availability last year, our team has been hard at work developing new features to further improve the app validation experience for our users. Learn more about our latest features that were developed specifically with our commercial partners in mind. We’ll demo our new features including validating business critical apps via intunewin package, in-place upgrade to validate Window 10 to Windows 11 upgrade impact, and enhanced validation with pre-release Microsoft 365 apps.
This session is part of the Microsoft Technical Takeoff: Windows + Intune. Add it to your calendar, RSVP for event reminders, and post your questions and comments below! This session will also be recorded and available on demand shortly after conclusion of the live event. |

- jaymichaudBrass ContributorFor Test Base, do the $8/hour charges apply against an Azure subscription, or is it a separate purchase of some kind?

Microsoft
Hi Jay. You can sign up using your existing Azure subscription and create a Test Base account by searching for 'Test Base for M365' in Azure Marketplace. Any Test Base usage will be automatically charged to your Azure account. However, you can still take advantage of our free credits for up to 100 trial hours on Test Base!
- ZebulonSmithIron ContributorIs there a way to leverage this for testing against devices that are connected to our domain? It would be super useful to test with the same configurations that are rolled out to end users.

We are working on a feature to allow customers can test against their specific image which contains the OS+Apps+policies. This will allow IT to test against a valid image that's rolled out to end users. The connection to the domain is on our roadmap. Any solution will require help from the customer to put in the right network config (Express Route, Azure VPN) to enable the test VM in Azure to talk to on-prem dependencies.- ZebulonSmithIron ContributorVery cool.
