Is there a free lab where we can practice using Azure like what was shown in the demo? Great presentations too.

You can get $200 free credit for 30 days which enables you to run Azure services such as AVD in that time and up to that value. There are also a range of other Azure services that are free for longer time periods: https://azure.microsoft.com/en-gb/free/lab-services#all-free-services - I would really like to have a free lab option as well. Hands-on learning is the best way for me ("kinetic learning"). This would go a long way to helping me support AVD and increasing adoption for my company. Like the old TechNet days.

Charlie Dobson and MrIT_Greg We also have the Windows 11 and Office 365 Deployment Lab Kit available to you to use. You can download that from our eval center here: Windows 11 and Office 365 Deployment Lab Kit | Microsoft Evaluation Center.
This kit comes with eval software that is timebombed to 90-days, and you still need the Azure subscription, which as TomHickling said can be a free version. Hopefully with the lab kit and the free Azure subscription you can get the hands-on you are asking for.
