Hi JimMoyle, thanks for all your work and I love app attach! Any chance there is something on the horizon where we select app attach apps to auto update when there is a new version added to Winget? Or if we can simply add apps to app attach from the Microsoft store, similar to how we can add them in Intune? I guess it is the conversion to the CIM file system that is the tricky part.

Hello Team, Now App-V Client & Sequencer enter into fixed extended support, so that means that we can continue to use App-V as App Attach even after April'26.
Its very confusing as while doing App-V App caching on machine, getting below warning. The warning states that "Note: Application Virtualization (App-V) will reach END-OF-LIFE in April 2026. After that time, App-V Client will be excluded from new version of windows operating system"
Kindly confirm that even after April'26, App-V App Attach will work in AVD in spite of the fact that App-V Client component will be removed from OS level.

Hi Nishant2603,
Once we withdrew the deprecation notice we needed to update the PowerShell and it will take a while before the new versions are deployed. This is a stale message and can be ignored.

Still my question is unanswered, whether App-V App Attach will continue to work after April'26.
