The long-standing issue preventing developers from working with WSL due to the WSL filesystem hanging needs sorting ASAP!! It's mentioned multiple times in https://github.com/microsoft/WSL/issues/6982 I'm now having to migrate to using a separate Linux box simply because WSL keeps hanging every couple of days and having to restart it with taskkill /f /im wslservice.exe
