Can the rings, beyond the test ring, be controlled or fine-tuned? Such as preventing VIP machines from entering early rings, or making sure that the early rings contain a variety of machines from business units?

Hi Michael, Windows Autopatch doesn't support managing update ring membership using your Azure AD groups for example. However, you can move devices between rings.
