Thanks for everyone's participation! Here are some questions the panelists answered during this AMA:

Question -- What was the journey like from public preview to GA for Windows App on Android? - answered at 5:37.

Question -- Can you share more details about the Windows App on Android upgrade? Is it an in-place upgrade of the Remote Desktop app or is this a new app that needs to be downloaded?  - answered at 8:00.

Question -- We had a similar journey with MAM (Mobile Application Management), where it was previewed with the previous app, so how does that lead into the new Windows App on Android? Is MAM GA (Generally Available) with the new Windows App on Android? - answered at 9:52.

Question -- Is the Windows App as good as the Remote Desktop App? Is it stripped down or does it have all the same functions? - answered at 13:38.

Question -- Does this run on ChromeOS? - answered at 14:40.

Question -- Does this MAM feature for Windows App work on Android 16? How long until new Android versions are supported by MAM? - answered at 16:54.

Follow up question -- You mentioned that part of MAM checks the OS version and the Windows App version, can you specify a range or is it just a minimum OS version? 19:09.

Follow up question -- Which optimization engine does Teams be running? I know with Windows, we started with WebRTC and then we had the new SlimCore. Do customers still need to have the web RTC redirector set up? – answered at 20:23

Follow up question -- When users are coming from the new Windows on SlimCore-- let’s say they do a handoff and switch over to a device that’s running the WebRTC, can you share more about what the experience for users is like? Are they able to switch Teams optimizations pretty easily?  – answered at 21:12.

Question -- How do I maximize Windows App on one monitor (not all of them)? - answered at 22:18.

Question -- Does Windows App on Android support dark mode? - answered at 29:51.

Question -- Does Windows App on Android support Call Redirection? - answered at 30:58.

Question -- How do we notify/inform users to upgrade to newer OS’s that are officially supported by Google? Is this via in-app messaging? Or something else? – answered at 42:39.
