Thanks for your participation in today's session! Here are the questions the panelists answered live, along with associated timestamps:

Question – In our organisation we have a couple of colleagues who are blind. How can they use accessibility functions from Windows and Copilot to ease their tasks at an office job? – answered at 5:53.

Question – Many people including myself are unable to work anymore due to temporal dithering in Windows. TD cause headache and nausea, it also tires the brain. Please add an accessibility switch to turn off Temporal Dithering in all version of Windows Workstation and Server! I get this issue on Windows 11 and Windows server 2025 even through RDP. – answered at 8:27.

Question – Tell me about some of the accessibility enhancements we’ve done with Windows 11 over the past few years? – answered at 11:19.

Question – For users who request/require them we must re-package/deploy/manage/troubleshoot/update/license; Freedom Scientific JAWS, ZoomText, and Dragon Naturally Speaking. I understand Microsoft is building similar accessibility features into the Windows operating system. I am interested in hearing ideas as to why we would still have requests for 3rd party solutions. Is it because Windows has yet to achieve feature parity? Or could our users be unaware of just how good Windows 11 is -- in part, because we were running Windows 10 22H2 until recently – answered at 14:14.

Question – Are there any features that make things easier for ADD/ADHD? We run a creative agency so we're a neurospicy bunch. – answered at 16:47.

Question – Are VDI solutions like Windows 365 accessible? – answered at 20:12.

Question – Since we're looking at Copilot+ PCs, what are some accessibility features available with those that give them an edge over other devices our leadership may be looking at? – answered at 23:22.

Question – With agents becoming a trend, how do we make sure those are accessible? Either by giving our agent suppliers guidelines or testing them ourselves? – answered at 26:04.

Question – When you talk to customers, what are some of the questions they ask about Windows 11 or gaps that Microsoft doesn’t offer now, and how customers are working around?  – answered at 29:40.

Question – What else can IT teams do to ensure their users are comfortable with the technology that is being deployed to them? How can we make sure that the IT staff, lets the users know that these features are available for them?  – answered at 32:46.

For users who request/require them we must re-package/deploy/manage/troubleshoot/update/license; Freedom Scientific JAWS, ZoomText, and Dragon Naturally Speaking. If it helps, I don't mind the extra work.

I understand Microsoft is building similar accessibility features into the Windows operating system. I hope we are not clobbering great features in Windows with 3rd party solutions.

I am interested in hearing ideas as to why we may still have requests for 3rd party solutions. Is it inertia? Is it because Windows has yet to achieve feature parity? Or could our users be unaware of just how good Windows 11 is -- in part, because we were running Windows 10 22H2 until recently 😏?

Many people including myself are unable to work anymore due to temporal dithering implemented and forced into Windows. This is a cry for help as not only does TD cause headache and nausea, it also tires the brain to a extent you just want to crawl in a little ball under your desk. It is totally disabling. Please add an accessibility switch to turn off Temporal Dithering in all version of Windows Workstation and Server!

I get this issue on Windows 11 and Windows server 2025 even through RDP.

    Hello,

In our organisation we have a couple of colleagues who are blind (completely). How can they use accessibility functions from Windows and Copilot to ease their tasks at an office job?

They are using JAWS to navigate, which is great.  But Microsoft Teams is terrible for blind people (too many ribbon levels, channels not easy to navigate).  Powerpoint is also not very blind-friendly.  But now it's easy to ask Copilot to generate a presentation from data that is available.

    Thanks!
