- Josh HippleIron ContributorWhat are the plans to offer multiple provisioning policies per user? - Example user needs more than 1 VM and needs different OS's (windows 10 and Windows 11, [future]Windows 12 etc.) - Useful for IT testers and verifying policy and provisioning methods
- RobinHBrass ContributorFurther to Provisioning Policies, controlling the order of which PP is applied if the user has multiple ones applied to them. A priority order.
- Bill_TitsworthCopper ContributorGreat point Josh, I agree, testers need the ability to enable different versions of an os/vm, and for executing test for each type of devise used i.e. pc, mac, android devices, ect...
- jbverosCopper ContributorIs there some idea of when GPU support will be coming to W365 Enterprise, and will the specs be more focused on heavy graphics workloads (e.g. workstations) or light GPU acceleration (e.g. desktop app responsiveness)?
- En111_Brass ContributorWe find this important as well. We have a lot of CAD users who need to travel light. As smooth a remote solution as possible would be great for them.
- En111_Brass ContributorThese GPU PCs are also very prone to latency problems - having to spin around a 3D model will always be a latency challenge for us

Thanks for joining today's AMA. Post your questions in the Comments so our panel can answer on the air!
- En111_Brass ContributorI see a SKU with 2GB RAM. Is this "on top of what Windows uses" seeing Windows 10 wants 4 GB ram? So if you run a 2GB RAM SKU, you have 2+whatever backend RAM is running?
- Josh HippleIron ContributorWhat plans are there for Windows 365 usage? Ideally looking to see who has a Cloud PC but is perhaps no longer using it so license could be reclaimed and provided to another user. CPU usage is ok but still requires a business analyst to review to see what is going on. Is VM need larger SKU? Are software installs/testing skewing results?
- JohanGCopper ContributorIs there a whitepaper or document comparing Windows 365 to Azure Virtual desktop for enterprise orgs? Is the future goal for the 2 products to reach parity or is it seen as different use cases?
- Josh HippleIron ContributorAre there plans to modify the Remote desktop customization that can be done by the end-user? Ideally being able to rename the RD connection instead of it stating "Cloud PC Enterprise 2vCPU....." etc and then being able to call it something more meaningful. Or at least have it match the provisioning policy name and date.
- Josh HippleIron ContributorCan we have have a method to have the Cloud PC's provisioned to run through a deployment profile? Similar to how Autopilot devices run through the enrollment profile? Yes this would add a small amount of time to provisioning but would 100% eliminate our need for any custom image
- RobinHBrass ContributorI'm working with this method: https://www.getrubix.com/blog/windows-365-endpoint-manager-a-deeper-look - i.e. using the User (but not Device) part of the ESP. I have a Dynamic collection of Cloud PC to which it's assigned. Seems to work...
- Josh HippleIron ContributorThanks for sharing Robin! *Exactly* the scenario that I was looking for. Will check this out now
- Josh HippleIron ContributorIt would be great to have customizable notifications sent to an end user once their device is fully provisioned. Also if user initiates a restore, when that operation completes, etc. Still reviewing options now with Graph API calls.
- tricks79Brass Contributor1- Will Microsoft update the Teams app running on Windows 365 to support latest features? (at very least, multi-window) 2- Will Endpoint Manager/Windows 365 support custom enrollment status page profiles? Doc says it uses the default ESP.
