- Christian ZenzanoBrass ContributorWill the Update from Windows 10 to Windows 11 always be a full core update? or will i have an "enablement package" option. IE. in the future i am on Win10 23H1 and ready to move my Org to Windows 11.

Windows 10 to Windows 11 will require an OS swap. An enablement package will not be available.

- GovGeekBrass ContributorLet's talk about Windows Feature Experience Packs... are these going to be the way to update Features on Windows 11 going forward since the WaaS model is going away? If so, will we be able to manage them?

- Christian ZenzanoBrass ContributorIs there a set # of previous versions that an "enablement package" will be good for. Is it an N-2 model or does it depend on what is the delta change between versions?
- David_Mebane
Microsoft
Summarizing what Aria shared, enablement packages are always built from a specific OS version. For example, the 1909 enablement package is built against 1903. So this can be used to move from 1903 to 1909, but not from 1809 (for example) to 1909. Depending on the feature update, we may build one or more enablement packages against a previous release before introducing another "OS swap" release.- Christian ZenzanoBrass ContributorIs there a way to track which version have enablement options vs which features will require an OS Swap? Is it also safe to say that most Win10 H2 versions will be an enablement package.
