Jul 21, 2021Can you please provide a bit more information on what you mean by 'deployment time can be scattered'. Also, are you asking about how to deploy those ARM firmware updates without using Windows Update and related policies.
For general information about what we are thinking about for managing drivers, you can see this blog here: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/windows-it-pro-blog/introducing-a-new-deployment-service-for-driver-and-firmware/ba-p/2176942

Absolutely, We have deployed ARM devices to several end-users and notice the firmware takes several weeks to hit each device via Windows Update. If we had the ability to download and deploy these packages manually (like with Intel/AMD) we could prevent device instability issues coming up.

How do you deploy them manually? And have are you using the deadline settings in Windows Update for Business. One of the big things that can delay deployment is the end user restart, and the deadline settings have been very useful in ensuring a timely update restart while giving end users control over when the restart occurs to avoid a productivity impact.
