Do you have any suggestions when updating devices with low disk space from 23H2 to 25h2? We have a large number of Surface devices excluded from 24h2 (And now 25h2) due to having less that 25gb disk space. Does 25h2 still require around 25gb?

    Hi harveyarscott​,

    There's really not much that can be done if the devices do not have enough free space. Using Storage Sense may help to free up drive space though: Manage drive space with Storage Sense - Microsoft Support.

    As for free space required, I can't actually find any official documentation that calls this out, but it should be the same as any previous full upgrade. Keep in mind though that to upgrade from 24H2 to 25H2, only an enablement package is used and a full in-place upgrade is not required. In theory, this should require less free space as most of the content is actually delivered in previous monthly cumulative updates.
