Are there any hardware requirements for Windows server / Windows client hotpatching? Or will I be able to utilize hotpatching as soon as I have Windows 11 + Windows server 2025?

Hrschmidt No special requirements, except the specific HW requirements needed for Windows 11. You can utilize hotpatching as soon as you have Windows 11 Enterprise, version 24H2 (Build 26100.2033 or later)

Hrschmidt besides what Joe mentioned, the hardware should be capable to have Virtualization Based Security (VBS) enabled and running. For VMs they need to be Gen 2 VMs. Hardware requirements for VBS is listed here Virtualization-based Security (VBS) | Microsoft Learn
