Have you looked at Windows LAPs?
we did and use it. I dont want to give out the use the user / pwd to use. From my point of view I dont have any control a user while having the knowledge of user / pwd. For me the challenge is that users are used to have local admin rights. They are developper and want to install testing tools etc. I want to prevent that and get rid off it.
- Thats the exact scenario we have. I had a call with Gartner to see what they thought and the conclusion was that its mainly a legacy mentality that needs to change. Its hard and devs are usually a nightmare to deal with as in their eyes they should have total freedom to do what they want however, my argument was that when they mess with the security settings of their endpoint then they are introducing risks. Good luck as I am going through the same pain
