Thanks for the question! Answering again in text in case people come across this page with the same question. DO and Connected Cache were designed to work together (not one over the other). Thus, most of our customers choose to use both technologies - we handle it on the back end in terms of balancing where your devices get their downloads from. We optimize for the best download experience - essentially, when your device requests a download, it will receive it from whichever is fastest to respond. That being said, there are ways to configure how much you use the MCC vs DO if that's something you'd like to customize.
