To create effective feedback flywheel organizations, need to design listening strategies that pull on different levers that match strategy to need. These levers such as source of data (e.g., sentiment and system data) or cadence (e.g., monthly, quarterly, etc) and stakeholder (e.g., IC, manager, leader, etc) help design a strategy around who should we be listening to when, what should we be asking and how often, who is accountable for action taking and most importantly what problems are we trying to answer. Understanding what levers, you have and when to use them can enable organizations to not just “listen” but embed listening as a key organizational capability critical to its business goals, whether its growth, efficiency, stability, or something else. So I'm thrilled about the opportunity to combine insights of how people feel and how they work to create more empowering work experiences.
