Learn More about Microsoft Viva Glint
Event details
Viva Glint defines employee engagement as the degree to which employees invest their cognitive, emotional, and behavioral energies toward positive organizational outcomes. Engaged employees are more likely to exert discretionary effort, resulting in better performance, stay with their organization, and recommend their company to others.
When Glint was established over a decade ago, we embarked on an exhaustive study with Stanford University to examine 500 commonly used engagement survey items, spanning 50 years of research in academia and industry, to create a robust measure of engagement and its drivers. Since our initial development of the items, we have continuously validated and refined them using our research database of 350+ million employee feedback datapoints from global customers and panel data.
Our ongoing research demonstrates that Viva Glint’s two-item index (How happy are you working at [Company Name] and I would recommend [Company Name] as a great place to work) continues to be the best representation of employee engagement, tied to the most people and business outcomes.
