I mean the standard metadata property ID (that is automatically assigned when create or upload a file).

    Both GUID's (which are normally hidden) and the Doc ID's are automatically assigned. In the site settings features do you have the Document ID's feature activated?

      Absolutely not. I don't want to use the Document IDs feature. I simply would like to copy contents from the document library A to document library B (in this moment, libraries are in different site collection). Once completed, I would like that the item ID of every file moved is progressive. Example: 21 22 23 24 etc Now instead, once completed the copy, in the library B I see: 30 32 34 ... etc Why, for example, system jump ID 31? I'm the only one that is working in this library.

        Are the GUID's staying the same from the source library? And how are you viewing the GUID's? In the URL?
