SharePoint Server Subscription Edition AMA

Hi Giles, SharePoint Server Subscription Edition is our newest major release of SharePoint Server and transforms our engineering model to be much closer to how our cloud services work, including SharePoint Online. Instead of having to wait up to 3 years for a new major version to come out to get new features and capabilities, we'll plan to continue releasing new feature experiences for SharePoint Server Subscription Edition as soon as they're ready via our monthly patches. So while you could think of SharePoint Server Subscription Edition as the final on-premises release, that doesn't fully convey the fact that we'll continue to invest in new on-premises and hybrid feature experiences in SharePoint Server Subscription Edition. (Kind of like saying that SharePoint Online is the final cloud release.)
