Hi. I'm just a fellow user here...But what browser are they using? When using Edge or Chrome I am not experiencing a problem with dragging a new file into a library. All I can imagine at this point is that it's an outdated browser or perhaps some sort of web-part issue (in which case, try dragging a file directly to a library and see if it works, rather than dragging to the web-part.)

We have tried it with Edge, Chrome, Firefox, and IE. SharePoint 2019, with Outlook 365. Drag and Drop isn't working even though it appears the settings should allow it.
- bwernetMay 10, 2022Copper ContributorWe can drag and drop files with edge/chrome/firefox from and to a sharepoint document library - through it is sometime a little fussy on where you have to drop the files. Event dropping full directories work.
- AdriennePMay 10, 2022Copper ContributorThis specific issue began when we transitioned from Sharepoint 2016 and Windows 10 to Sharepoint 2019 and Windows 365. We were fine with the first combo.
- Aria_ConsultingMay 11, 2022Brass ContributorYou mentioned "Windows 365". To clarify, are your users using the Windows 365 VDI? If so, it may be a setting on the VDI's that is the problem if your using SPSE (what this AMA is about) as the Win365 VDI won't have direct connectivity to your on prem SPSE environment.
