We would like to create a rule that sends a notification only ONCE PER DAY when new files are created or uploaded to a particular folder. Just so we can see where new content has been added at a glance--not receive a notification for each file that is uploaded. Thanks.

    You can actually do this with the built in alerts without having to create a rule. They have an option for a daily summary of uploads, changes and deletes.

    You can set a standard alert (ref. Alert me) for that specific folder, configuring the reminder for one time for day (you can choose the time).
