Couldn’t you provide to remove password in the Excel file and modify the permission of the file uploaded in SharePoint (enabling a group to edit and a group to read)?
Thank you for your suggestions, unfortunately this file is stored on Teams (and have to be there) and it's automatically permitted to edit for all team members, so in this case edit and view options wouldn't work
- This is not a problem: every team matches with a site collection SharePoint, and the tab file is a library (documents) with a folder for every public channel. You should only create a subfolder without inherits permissions or simply modify the right of this specific file.
