Hello,
I could use advise of an expert :)
I've been looking for a way to use co-authoring for a password protected Excel workbook stored on Teams therefore SharePoint?
Excel file have to be available for co-authoring (editing at the same time) for few persons and at the same time have to be read-only for a larger group of users.
Does this feature exist already?
Thank you in advance

Couldn’t you provide to remove password in the Excel file and modify the permission of the file uploaded in SharePoint (enabling a group to edit and a group to read)?
- Grinman_AnastasiaMay 10, 2022Copper ContributorThank you for your suggestions, unfortunately this file is stored on Teams (and have to be there) and it's automatically permitted to edit for all team members, so in this case edit and view options wouldn't work
- Raffaele CamillettiMay 10, 2022Copper ContributorThis is not a problem: every team matches with a site collection SharePoint, and the tab file is a library (documents) with a folder for every public channel. You should only create a subfolder without inherits permissions or simply modify the right of this specific file.
