Will the Syntex service ever be available outside of SharePoint like on Azure blob storage or anywhere like that?

    To expand on Chris' response... we do have future plans to allow 3P data to participate in Syntex through Microsoft Graph connectors which will function similar to how you can bring data into the Microsoft 365 data state with Microsoft Search today. Nearer term, Syntex will soon work with images and emails (as well as DAV data) as we expand beyond SPO.

    We've done some design work on using Syntex models against remote content but no dates to share. To be fair, ABS is a limitied storage system with no intrinsic support for versioning, coauth, sharing and particularly custom metadata - part of ehy M365 is a great home for those critical content scenarios.
