Not AMA related... but I'm noticing the timestamps on all these comments are not respecting my TechCommunity preference for my local timezone and it's confusing. Dylan_Snodgrass
- Brian, my understanding is that Universal Resource Scheduling only functions if you have Dynamics 365 for the organization. I couldn't find any way to make the Universal Resource Scheduling tools work with just Microsoft 365 and Power Apps licenses. If I'm wrong about this, then please point me in the right direction form using the URS functions without Dynamics 365, because I would LOVE to have the resource scheduling/utilization view for P4W that it offers.

URS is available in Project for the web. This help page describes how you can set it up.
It isn't available to users with only M365 or Power Apps licenses. Details about licensing is in the Project for the web service description. At a high-level, if you're using the Project Power App (the one deployed with the Project solution), users can create resource requests and accept booking proposals with a Project Plan 3 license. They'll need a Project Plan 5 license to create and update bookings to fulfill resource requests and to manage skills for their resources.
- Got it. That confirms what I thought. Definitely a good thing to mention when recommending to anyone that they use URS. It took me a long time to determine for certain that there is no way to implement without Dynamics 365, as it is isn't very clear from the Microsoft instructions on URS usage/implementation that it can only be done with a Dynamics 365 license.
