Yes, it is in support, but for how long approximately? 2 years, 5 years, 10 years...?
- Brian-SmithMay 10, 2023Bronze ContributorLike SharePoint Server, and the next version of Exchange, which follow the modern lifecycle, there aren't specific dates quoted. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/lifecycle/policies/modern
- KuchenbaeckerITMay 10, 2023Copper ContributorDue to modern lifecycle, in most cases Microsoft provide 10 years of support for their products. Project Server Subscription Edition start date of support was the Nov 2, 2021. So if I've understood you correctly, can we expect extended support until Nov 2031 for this product?
- Brian-SmithMay 10, 2023Bronze ContributorNo Aleksej, the '10 years' lifecycle is what was called the 'Fixed' lifecycle. Even that has not necessarily been 10 years, and for example for Project and SharePoint Server 2019 their lifecycle was from October 2018 to July 2026. The Modern lifecycle details can be found on the link I shared, but have no fixed dates.
