- PeterWielingaCopper ContributorCan I store my own templates for later use by others?
- Brian-SmithFormer EmployeeNo, but certainly share feedback to help us to prioritize. Copilot may be even better than using templates to get you started. Copy Plan can also be useful here.
- nathanielwilsonOccasional ReaderIs it possible to attach a document (word, excel, pdf, etc) to a task in Planner?
- David_HopkinsFormer EmployeeHi Nathaniel. If your plan has been added to a Microsoft 365 group, you can upload files and attach them to tasks through the task details. Otherwise you can save them to your OneDrive or SharePoint storage and share a link to add to the task. https://support.microsoft.com/office/attach-files-photos-or-links-to-a-task-52c688e1-aeb0-4b49-8d78-42984cd553f7
- Brian-SmithFormer EmployeeYes, these documents can be attached to the tasks - either in the Group OneDrive, or via a link to somewhere else.

Is there a way to create your own template & make it hardcoded? Meaning, it can not be modified when copied for use?
- Brian-SmithFormer EmployeeNo, be sure to let us have feedback and do you feel Copilot helps with creating new plans, as per the video?
- ProductiveLaurenCopper ContributorHave you made any functions to "follow" certain tasks in planner and get updated whenever anyone makes a comment or change?
- BruceSP2Copper ContributorCan we build own own Organizational templates like we have with SP and other tools?
- Biatrice_Ambrosa
Microsoft
While we do not have custom organization templates, you can achieve this scenario by creating a plan and sharing it with your organization and they could use it as a template by copying this plan whenever they need it.
- Alex_KattarBrass ContributorWhen someone has been assigned to a task, the user would receive notifications of comments from the task, even after the user was removed from the task. Has this been fixed/updated? Thank you
- Brian-SmithFormer EmployeeThe behavior hasn't been changed Alex - we have certainly had the feedback before and it is on the backlog for consideration. Further feedback help with prioritization.
- petewhiteCopper ContributorAny plans to add horizontal swim lanes to the Planner view?
- BenB1500Copper ContributorAre there plans to incorporate the ability to have an overview of multiple different projects together - I think this would be incredibly useful (for example I manage 85 different but incredibly similar Projects)
- PeterWielingaCopper ContributorI would like to schedule tasks on which multiple people need to work. I want to mark it complete, when all have completed their piece. How can I assign that in Planner?
- Biatrice_Ambrosa
Microsoft
You can try the premium plan functionality and see if it meets your needs. Once you create a premium plan, you can assign a task to multiple people and in the board or people page you can mark each person's assignment as completed. Each person can also go to My Tasks page and do the same. Once everyone marks their own part of the task as completed, the task gets automatically completed. Let us know if this helps.
