- BlueSky2020Copper ContributorPlanner Copilot, will this require a separate license, or will it always need a Project Plan 3/5 subscription? Also, will the Project Plan 3/5 subscriptions eventually be replaced by Planner Premium features?

Currently Copilot in Planner (preview) is available with P3 or P5 licenses and or through a trial. Final packaging will be announced shortly. Thank you.
- KTitusBrass ContributorYou mentioned that you can import MPPs into planner. Can someone point me to how I do that. I am not seeing that as an option.

Hi Kori. This is available today through Project for the web (see the help article: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/move-your-project-from-project-desktop-to-project-for-the-web-143ab391-002e-451a-aedb-3b6fa1f6ab8b). We don't have the import capability in the new Planner app directly, but once you've imported a plan through Project for the web, you should be able to access it through the new Planner app. Thanks. - Brian-SmithFormer EmployeeHi Kori, this is applicable to premium plans, and today only available in the web at project.microsoft.com. New Plan offers the choice to import a plan and you can choose an mpp. Some limitations apply. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/move-your-project-from-project-desktop-to-project-for-the-web-143ab391-002e-451a-aedb-3b6fa1f6ab8b
- PeterWielingaCopper ContributorWould this then be the way to use my own built template for all other project teams in our company? So first build the project template in Project, then open in Project for Web and then go to Planner? (sounds like a complex way....)
- chrismitcheleCopper ContributorWe are about to launch either Asana or Planner. How can we simply understand what is included as part of Basic or Enterprise license? We have about 50 employees. In the business we have 3 PMs but most of us just need a solid collaboration tool to manage Roadmaps, Dev, and Basic Internal Projects. We need to tie together tasks from all sources and really don't want to add Asana.
- Michael445Copper ContributorFollowing. Contributors shouldn’t NEED a P3/5 license

Please contact plgchamps@microsoft.com and one of our Champs can help you with this analysis and show you a demo!
- markomcpartlandCopper ContributorI like to see all my tasks across all plans via the Planner app in Teams. Yet its impossible to use this for any work as cannot enter any comments against tasks as system forces you to 'Open in Channel to view and reply to conversations about this task and pushes you to that channel If teams is all about conversations, then this Planner app in Teams is only useful to view plans as cant have any conversations about them

Will task history/ audit trail be offered?
- Brian-SmithFormer EmployeeTask History is available on premium plans - audit capabilities are present for Planner generally in M365. Let us know what you need Shannon.

Thanks for the question Shannon. Task history is available in the new Planner today. Check out this blog to learn more about the capability and how to access it. Would love to know whether this is what you were looking for. Thanks. https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/planner-blog/collaborate-confidently-with-task-history-in-microsoft-planner/ba-p/4178829- -_RH_-Iron Contributor
AnavSilverman, what happens to the task if deleted? Can it be restored, or is it no longer available, or...?
- StephenMcGillBrass Contributoryes it seems so if you buy Plan 3 licence https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/planner/microsoft-planner-plans-and-pricing?msockid=2c15fd5d85646ad00102ecdb84d76b9e
- Shannon316Copper ContributorYes, it would be nice to see it available in the other Planner licenses, as Project is too much for our organization's needs.
- Costa950Copper ContributorGreat updates! Can you speak to data security & privacy with the integration of Copilot? Especially for companies that are generally prohibited from entering information in AI tools.
- Tod_AndersonBrass ContributorI like Meet's record collection
- ProductiveLaurenCopper ContributorI have noticed that co-pilot hasn't included a lot of options to undo or go back. Will we be able to do that in Planner with co-pilot? It can make it a nightmare trying to set up something complex if there is no way to reverse the change manually. 🦝
- JimenaZagaCopper ContributorWhen will these features come out & be available to the users?

- MichaePaolucciCopper ContributorThere is a Power App called "Project for Web Accelerator" that include very robust portfolio management features and extensive project tracking. Why isn't this tool actively being promoted?
- ansingh32
Microsoft
Hi Michael. Accelerator will keep working as is. However, no future investments are planned for Accelerator & Portfolios in Planner will be the recommended solution going forward. The reason for this approach is because we wanted to consolidate all our products and enable them at a single experience. Thats the reason why Portfolios is coming to Planner. You can continue to use Accelerator and also leverage our Partner network for customizing the Accelerator solution for more advanced capabilities.
