Thanks for the update about using Project in Teams vs Planner. I have the Teams Premium and Copilot subscriptions. When I set up a tab in Teams (my preferred way to manage project teams), do I have all of the richer features available to me when using Project (vs Planner)?

The richer features come with Planner Plan 1, and Project Plan 3/5 licenses Jeffrey - Teams Premium and Copilot licenses themselves don't light up the Planner features.
