Hello, I am an elder (71, and that is not a typo) social work program student at Colorado Mesa University having to use the Desire to Learn (D2L) interface. It is one of perhaps six university-oriented interface systems for receiving homework assignments, turning in assignments, grades, assessments, etc. For most of us, it is a nightmare you Must master if you are to succeed and graduate. In the spring, I tried using some of Planner's templates to organize everything in D2L, plus my own research projects, extra-curricular activities, etc. It ended up taking more time than simply grabbing a huge calendar and penning things in.. but no calendar is big enough. : ) I am resigned to creating my own template going forward. I designed Microsoft Front Page websites since the 1990's, developed what was then considered the first Word>Excel>Word macros to do cost-estimates in Word, and was about to be written up in the Microsoft newsletter, when some vulnerabilities showed up in macros code for hackers, and then macros disappeared for years. Thankfully they are back! But, the question is, with the zillions of students using Microsoft 365 in school, and Planner-basic is included as part of that package, and most students I've talked with don't even know it exists, will the Planner team develop a professional template for university students that includes not just home work and research assignments, but club activities, and other extra-curricular activities? That would save me the time to do it, and gosh knows, with each professor seeming to think that their subject is the only one in the universe, there is no time left in any day, much less design a thorough, color-coded, easy to use student template. If I have to, I will, but it sure would help if you could assign a team that task, as it would help millions of students really succeed and make it to graduation. With global heating in our face now, we need all the educated problem-solvers we can help graduate.
Cheers!

Social Work BSW Program student, also, on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Social Workers-Colorado Chapter, as the Undergraduate Representative for this year. Planner for Students would be considered a "mezzo" social work solution. : )
