This is a deal breaker when building an architecture trying to minimized M365 group/Teams proliferation. Also, having the possibility to get external users (B2B direct connect) access to shared channel planner tasks would fullfill a common business case.

This has been an ask for years with multiple posts on different feedback portals. I think it’s time to just say that the technical setup with M365 Groups just doesn’t work with Planner in Private or Shared channels. And that’s fine. You just get people excited otherwise. If it’s in the Backlog for years and you hear a lot of people asking for it, why is this not actively worked on?
