Is there going to be a way to view the total tasks assigned to a person across multiple projects? Will tasks assigned in project for the web flow over to Planner?

As a PM and manager, not being able to see all the tasks assigned to my team members, at least for plans and projects that I have access to, is a significant drawback of Planner.
