1. Are you able to delete a plan? I entered a test plan and didn't like the template, so I wanted to delete, but not finding it (three dots does not have a delete option) 2. Any plans to add subtasks? It would be great to have an overarching task that is comprised of subtasks

You can only delete a Plan from the online version of Planner. Have you looked there?
