Hi, 4 questions:
1: Will 'new' Planner / Planner premium support a non-default environment? If not when can we expect to see this support? Microsoft advice is to use environments to isolate data for various groups.
2: Its critical to have some form of data protection to avoid data loss if people accidently delete tasks or plans. At the moment this does not exist which is a risk for many organisations. Is this on your roadmap?
3: New Planner & New Planner premium sit on different architectures, are there any plans to merge these so that everything is available in the Dataverse?
4: The last change on the Project Accelerator GitHub repo was 3 years ago, will there be any future development in this area, if not what other alternatives are available for people to extend Planner Premium?

Microsoft
We don't have support for non-Default environment projects as part of our initial launch. We're working on bringing support for them in the new Planner app for Team
- I think you're asking about something like a "recycle bins" feature for this. Let me know if I'm mistaken. We don't currently have that on our roadmap.
- Right now, we're focusing on delivering a converged end-user experience for users of our Planner clients. We will also simplify the experience for developers and admins with a converged platform. We'll share more about plans for the converged platform when we've finalized our plans.
- What kinds of scenarios are you looking to have supported in the Accelerator? We continue to support ongoing investments into the Power Platform and are open to suggestions for additional capabilities to highlight in the Accelerator
- AnonymousApr 04, 2024Thanks, do you have a timeline (weeks, months, years) on non-default support? Yes, recycle bin, at the moment its a huge risk for organisations and seems to have been a constant ask for Planner/Project for the Web to ensure people can use the product without that constant worry of losing critical data. Seems a large gap in the product. I understand that current Planner data does not exist in the Dataverse?
