Currently in Planner I may be assigned to a task, but I will not get email notifications of people's comments until I also make a comment. Will that be fixed?
- Stephanie88Apr 16, 2024Copper ContributorIn "old" planner, this was an issue and I'm dismayed to hear that basic functions like this are not being addressed. The comment should go not just to the team mailbox (which does not work because all members don't care about all tasks and further, they don't know the team mailbox exists - who wants more email?) but to any assignee. As a PM, the only ways I have to fix this are: 1. Ask each assignee by way of an admin note in EVERY task to acknowledge the task...this gets them added to notifications when any subsequent comments is added (problem is not everyone acknowledges their tasks) 2. Reply to my own initial comment notification, adding the assignee to the thread...this is redundant.
