I have a client who is requesteing a way to Free Up Space with OneDrive on a schedule as they run out of space on there hard drive and users are not smart enough so it would be great if there was a way to set it on a schedule

Aug 21, 2024Are the machines the client managing physical machines or in a virtualized environment? If they are physical machines, they can try out the storage sense policy: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/client-management/mdm/policy-csp-storage#configstoragesensecloudcontentdehydrationthreshold. If not, freeing up space can also be scripted with the Files On-Demand attributes https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/files-on-demand-windows.
