The ability to save Chat has been outstanding for a long time on UserVoice and is particularly important for academia. Will this be available in 2022?

Are there any plans to allow multiple video/camera feeds at same time in Live events? For things like panel discussions?

Any considerations for other ways to categorize channels other than choosing what to hide or show? Discord handles categories and view permissions very well, would desire that for organizing our collaboration in a professional platform such as Teams.

On the telecom side there are currently several features that used to be available on premise in Lync/Skype that are still missing from Teams as a phone system replacement. Analog support via ATAs is still unavailable, though could most likely be an improvement to the SIP Gateway. Additionally, things such as Private Line are missing as well. These are greatly hindering our Teams adoption as our phone system replacement, and it seems like several items from the phone system side don't show on the M365 roadmap, but are in the pipeline. Are these actually in the pipeline?

Is there a timeline when it is possible to change an existing public to private or private to public channel?

Are there plans to (one day) rename the default General Channel?

Is there any intent to change the "to message" button in the search in teams? Right now it just shows you the one message with the search hit. It would be a lot more useful if it would jump to the message in the chat history with the whole context.

The possibility to add notifications from Yammer communities inside Teams settings is now longer available. Do you know, if this is coming back or is there another way?

My heavy e-mail users want to better organize their private chats. Are there plans for creating "threads" in private/group chats? (much like channel conversations).
