At the beginning of October, many of my team members get a double beep every few seconds when we mute our mics.
We have reached out to support, but they have been ZERO help, do you all know why supported headsets are now beeping like this?
So, because of this, we have very loud meetings now because no one can mute their mics so background noise is very loud.

- mschlaudraffNov 09, 2021Brass ContributorThank you, just so you know a great deal of our team members use the aftershokz opencomm headset and they worked great until the October.

Hi Mark, that headset is not Teams Certified so can't comment on those specifically. There is no beep when muted function in Teams. That beeping is implemented by the headset. For our Certified devices, those which implement the beeping do so as an option which can be turned on or off in their settings app. So for example for Poly this would be in Poly Lens (or the older Plantronics app). So in this case unfortunately I would suggest reaching out to "aftershokz" for help on their settings or perhaps trying out a Certified headset.
