Currently when looking for the apps on the Teams, we do have lot of uncertainness when trying to understand where the app store the data (logs, traces, app data, etc..) from our users. What possibilities we do have to secure that our data is not leaking out of our tenant if we choose to enable Teams apps, either made by Microsoft or 3rd party vendors. Do you have any plans to make this verification more simple for us?
- Raphael_KoellnerNov 09, 2021Learn ExpertThese are great questions for example in combination with data privacy and compliance. I can recommended the Microsoft 365 App Compliance Program: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365-app-certification/overview Do you want to see one of these certifactes also for Microsoft Teams Apps? Then you can use this side in the documentation to get the information for Microsoft Teams Apps: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365-app-certification/teams/teams-apps and more via the Defender for Cloud Apps. For more information you need to use a 3rd Party Microsoft vendor or ask the developer of the Microsoft Teams App. At least there are some MVP Community Blogs, which has the information in a database. If you want more information in the default list or in another way please use the Feedback-Portal: aka.ms/TeamsFeedback
