- Bernie_DiPasqualeCopper ContributorWhen you say "cast" do you mean Miracast, or which actual transport?
- Michael TresslerIron ContributorNo, not Miracast. The Teams client (the person casting) sends the screen being shared via the Teams service and then Teams Rooms (receiving the cast) gets that from Teams. In other words, there is no direct connection between the mobile device and Teams Rooms.
- chriswagnerBrass ContributorIf there are external guests in a Teams Meeting Room, how can they share her presentation with her Laptop? Is there anything coming without installing teams on her device?
- chriswagnerBrass ContributorYes wireless... We use Barco but Zoom has a nice feature where its possible by a code on a website 😉
- MartinSchwarzCopper ContributorIt appears you may be working on parity of features/functions on both the Managed Services portal and TAC; e.g., ring support in TAC coming soon. True? Is there a roadmap and prioritization of making sure all new management/admin features will be introduced on both platforms at similar timeframes?
- Adam JacobsCopper ContributorThanks for sharing that there was a new Teams Phone update, my Poly CCX is much happier now! 🙂
- Holly LehmanIron ContributorJoin the Intune TechCommunity and ask about their Microsoft Endpoint Manager customer program! https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/mem-customer-connection/bd-p/IntuneCustomerConnection
- RayGentryBrass ContributorCan I give you a service ticket number that's been open for over a month and I can't get moved up to a higher level to you guys 😜
- fbraconeCopper ContributorAre we going to be able to search for rooms features (FrontRow, intelligent speakers and intelligent cameras like we do for display, audio and video) in Teams like we do in Outlook with the new Room Finder?
- You could set up features via set-place https://www.graham-walsh.com/configuring-accounts-for-microsoft-teams-devices/#outlook_web_access_-_set-place. Does that work for you?
- Holly LehmanIron ContributorWith 15 min to close of the session, please keep the questions coming! We have time and want to hear from you! Thank you for the discussion! Great questions
- Petri-XBronze ContributorI believe some of the earlier questions were skipped 😉
- ScottMcWilliamsBrass ContributorBLR beacon HW recommendations?
- JasonMouldenCopper Contributorscott - I've had good success with ASUS BT-500 when extending for larger rooms.
- JBuddCopper ContributorI appreciate your answer on BYOD. As a law firm we work with bespoke vendors that will probably never be on your radar that require proprietary meeting software (like for depositions) that must be run on Windows. A BYOD setup, like the swytch, is the only way that will allow us to fully leverage the investment in the hardware. If you don't recommend BYOD, what options do you recommend in such a scenario?
