3rd Party Apps for federated instances? Consider Jira across Teams instances - We have a license but a partner doesn't. Is that a use case that works?

As a platform is there a vision for Microsoft Teams channels/chats to have integrations with other collaboration platforms like Slack?

Partial functionality is why we end up not using many 3rd party apps. We have encourage adding a browser tab to the Team that points to the web-based app, so users have all the functionality they need.

Will 3rd party apps work in shared channels?

Private Channel has release a long time now. but Shared (Connect Channel) is in preview.

Regarding Microsoft Planner inside private channels. This is not working and more the question is - why? We do not want to implement 3rd party apps and pay money and check all the data privacy regulations, because we are located at Germany.

+1 for the Jira integration. It's made a world of difference for our support desk employees.

I work a lot with local government in the UK, it would be great to have some kind of government certification for external apps that included where the data is stored, as this is always a huge issue for Councils - is this something that could be considered?

Will apps ever work in Private channels? We have several groups that would like Planner, Shifts, etc. to work in Private channels to practice need to know. Having separate Teams to allow this functionality is Kludgy and is counter what Teams should be.
