The Windows 10 -> Windows 11 upgrade is a risky task with a more significant impact on the user. The Update Ring option "Upgrade Windows 10 devices to Latest Windows 11 release" feels lackluster, and it's not feasible to deploy gradually without completely redesigning your Update Rings.
The Windows 10 -> Windows 11 upgrade could benefit from the same deployment options that you're providing in "Feature updates for Windows 10 and later (preview)"

Hey David_Guyer, thank you for responding to me. So are you stating that a configuration like this..
..where both policies are deployed to the same group will upgrade a Windows 10 device to Windows 11 22H2? Or do I need to check the "Upgrade Windows 10 devices to Latest Windows 11 release" box to pass the Windows 10 > Windows 11 upgrade control to the Feature Update profile? (Similar to how you set the deferral period to 0 days to pass Feature Update control to the Feature Update Profile.)
Thank you!- David_GuyerOct 26, 2022

Don't use the feature update profiles and the "upgrade to win11" option in Update Rings together, or at the same time. The Update Rings option was provided for those who don't want to (or can't) use the Feature update profiles, and will usually "win". Otherwise, my recommendation is to use the feature update profiles to handle all your feature update needs... such as Win10 22H2 and Win11.- EricOhlinOct 26, 2022Iron Contributor
Hey David, I think we're missing each other a bit. I'm interested in upgrading devices from Windows 10 -> Windows 11 using Intune. Are you saying that the Feature Update rings will upgrade a device that's Windows 10 21H1 to Windows 11 22H2? Thank you.
EDIT: I found my answer here. https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/video-hub/getting-to-windows-11-with-windows-update-for-business/ba-p/2908310The feature update policy will upgrade Windows 10 devices to Windows 11. We've always considered a Feature Update as "Windows 10 21H1 > 22H2" and a Windows Upgrade as "Windows 10 > Windows 11." However, in this instance, the terminology is combined and causes some confusion in the behavior.
