how does MS recommend doing updates where deployment optimization is not a good fit like small remote offices? We rely heavily on DP's and we want to move forward but internet traffic is not a good thing
Hi Jeffry, I hear your point, have you looked into Delivery Optimization? It is easy to implement, free of charge and covers a variety of products.- yes but not a good for small sites, the network group does not like using internet as more and more solutions require internet, downloading content impacts the business
- That's true. From the monitoring side you will see that Delivery Optimization will eradicate many issues on this frontier. Let it be Windows Store apps (esp. internal Windows apps), Winget, Office and Windows Update and Drivers.
