Editor's note: The retirement of the Microsoft Store for Business and the Microsoft Store for Education, originally scheduled for March 31, 2023, has been postponed. For the latest information on the Microsoft Store, read Update to Intune integration with the Microsoft Store on Windows.

- JamesEppIron ContributorIs there a concept of "version pinning" in the event of a program in a repo introducing a regression?
- Jason_Sandys
Microsoft
Not today, however, the aspiration in that private Windows Package Manager repositories could fill this gap.
- Tim_blBrass ContributorWhen will this Store integration within Intune become available (although it might be in preview first)?
- Joe_Lurie
Microsoft
It's in Private Preview today, and will be Generally Available when the preview is complete.
- Can Intune install win32 apps that require admin rights (like Acrobat Reader) from Store with a system account?
- Jason_Sandys
Microsoft
This is more about WinGet than Intune and is in the WinGet backlog to the best of my knowledge.
- joel_grangierBrass ContributorThrough the current Microsoft Store for Business, it is possible to remove a device from the Autopilot Program even if this device is still managed (associated with an Intune object). This is a feature that is important in some particular cases (e.g. decommissioning of a device, a device need to be re-imported into Autopilot after some issues without having to reset and re-enrolled it). As the actual Microsoft Store for Business will be retired, what other possibilities will we have for such use cases?
- treestryderIron ContributorRolled their own CLI. No Powershell interface. Ruined a perfectly good licensing system in the Store for Business. Threw away the security and privacy model once enforced by the Microsoft Store. And... GPO. 🤔
- DeletedYou're welcome. 😐 Everyone is invited to contribute in a constructive manner to winget and the repo at github. PowerShell support is actively in the works. Please check the roadmap of winget.
- treestryderIron ContributorAlready +1'ed the Powershell interface request. And as for the broken Store model, the damage has already been done. When someone above caved into software vendors who want full access and control of our PCs, and the system administrators who are willing to give it to them. <shrug>
- Tim_PawasaratIron ContributorConfiguration Manager now has the capability to automatically uninstall applications from PCs that are no longer a member of the deployment collection. Will something similar be used for deployments through Intune?
- mandarchenBrass ContributorSupersedence and dependency features are on the roadmap.
- DeletedWill apps distributed by winget via Intune be still listed in the company portal app?
- mandarchenBrass ContributorYes, if the app is deployed with available intent.
- It seems that app logo is not automatically added to the app. Is this correct?
- mandarchenBrass ContributorAdding app logo is on the roadmap for us.
- Roy_MacLachlan
Microsoft
With Store apps today that is correct. We have a backlog item to handle this.

Will there be Supersedence and dependencies available? I didn't see this in the demo.
- Joe_Lurie
Microsoft
Supercedence and dependencies are on our roadmap.
- ZebulonSmithIron ContributorWinget has a huge potential to make our lives easier as admins, but in a highly controlled environment, we wouldn't want end users to be able to call winget.exe on their own. Will we have a way to prevent users from installing apps manually via winget.exe while still publishing the apps that we approve via Intune?
- DanielRatliffBrass ContributorCheck the ADMX template available on the Github repo. It allows you to control winget.

Group Policies are so 2017 though.
