M365 applications, especially adding Visio or Project for example to an existing installation of the M365 Apps suite is a somewhat buggy experience now. Will this solution also be able to add certain office addons of maybe even the full M365 apps suite?

No ability to set a dependency on M365 apps is also inexplicably missing. Have an add-in for Outlook/Word/etc.? Sorry, you'll just have to cross your fingers that the Office suite installs first.

These are great questions and points, but ultimately, the behavior here is defined and dictated by the M365 apps team and is better addressed by them.- Paul_WoodwardOct 26, 2022Iron ContributorPerhaps you can understand how frustrating it is when Microsoft build a repo and software installation system that does not deliver a robust deployment method for probably the most popular Microsoft apps of all?? As customers, we'd expect that to be the showcase, not something like VSCode. We don't care about how your teams are organised, we'd just expect that to be a key deliverable. My users do for sure.

While I understand the comment, that doesn't change the reality that the M365 apps team is free to do as they see fit and are not constrained by constructs created by other teams. Thus, while we hear your feedback and, as noted, completely understand it, we have no special insight necessarily into what the M365 apps team is doing in this regard, and you are in a better position to drive awareness with them. I know this is a frustrating message, but it is reality.
